Our holiday house overlooks the Goolwa River, not far from the barrage and the Aqua Cafe. It is only 1.5km from the beach and the South Lakes Golf Course is directly behind. Perfectly positioned it is the ideal place for a relaxed holiday retreat.
"Narringa" means 'Pelican' in the local aboriginal language.
From the front verandah enjoy the magic of a sunrise over the Lower Lakes. Watch the pelicans fly in for their early morning breakfast. In the evening, the sun sets from the rear balcony overlooking the South Lakes Golf Course!
Sleeping up to a max of 6 people, the house is on two levels.
Ground level:
bedroom with two single beds, bathroom with shower & full sized bath, separate toilet, plus a fully equipped laundry, TV/ living room (or 3rd bedroom with foldout double bed). Side door access to river front.
Upper level:
open plan living/dining/kitchen area with raked ceiling, Master bedroom & bathroom. Front and rear verandahs. Quality polished timber flooring in the living area. Fully equipped kitchen - fridge, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, electric frypan, crockery, cooking utensils. plus much more.
Two comfortable Cape Cod chairs on the front balcony invite you to sit down, relax and soak up the tranquil lifestyle and views. Both levels include split system reverse cycle air conditioners.
A secure paved courtyard at the rear supports a carport with auto-lift roller doors and room for children to play. It allows direct access to the property, also side access to the river front.
All linen supplied for 6 people, plus 6 beach towels.
Centrally located close to the river, beach, parks, playground, golfcourse, and cafes. It doesn't get much better than this!
